3 Tips To Avoid Burnout

Setting goals is the easy part, keeping goals can be a challenge! Did you know January 19th is the day you are most likely to give up on your New Year’s Resolutions? At Copper Compression, our #1 goal is to help you accomplish yours! Here are three tips we swear by to avoid burnout. 

Take It Slow 

It is so easy to jump full force into a new challenge and that makes sense. You’re motivated, excited, and ready to crush your goals. It's SO important to take it slow in the beginning, especially if you’re brand new at something. Going too hard too early can lead to exhaustion and burnout. Take it slow, build up endurance and enjoy your journey. 

Remember To Rest 

Rest is an important part of every routine! It will give you time to recover physically and mentally while you work towards your goals. Putting rest on the back burner can lead to injury, exhaustion, and ultimately quitting your goals. Take a day off, you deserve it! 

Prioritize Recovery 

Jumping into a new fitness routine or taking it up a notch can be hard on the body. Does second-day soreness ring a bell? It’s essential to give your body the tools it needs to recover. Hydrate after workouts, wear compression products to help flush out lactic acid and take a rest day when needed so you can come back stronger.
